Tokyo Slim in the House

Well, I'm back from the Alaska and I've got a confession to make; for those people that say you can't hate something without experiencing it first, you are absolutely wrong. Alaska is the dumbest state and I was right for hating it before I ever went there, and now I can say it with even more confidence because I've been there. On the upside, I'm now part of that elite group that can say,"Back in Alaska..."

Yes, there was some nice mountain scenery, but the whole world is covered with mountains and I didn't find anything overly gorgeous. It just didn't offer up anything that I hadn't seen before, aside from bald eagles. There's a crap ton of them "back in Alaska" and they are slightly less majestic than I was led to believe. They do soar around trees and water and stuff, but they also cruise the mall parking lots looking for scraps like the zillions of ravens that I saw. Kind of a scavenger/free-loader now. Maybe it was all those years on the endangered species list that made it soft. Something to think about I suppose...

Although I worked with and for some of the most retarded National Guard people Missouri has to offer, I did make some really good friends from other places. Its really unfortunate that those idiots had to ruin an otherwise shitty time in such a stupid state.

So, I'm home now and my time off is coming to an end. It'll be back to work for me in a few more days. I wanted to "cool off" a bit before I updated the blog, as I didn't want to say something hurtful that I didn't truly mean. To those people that were cool, thanks for keeping me sane-ish.

Here's a pic of typical Alaskan wildlife. These things were everywhere, back in Alaska.
