A Letter to M&M

Ok, so while I was in the Alaska, I ate a shit-ton of MRE's. We had a hot breakfast and hot dinner, but lunch was with the Meals Rejected by Ethiopians. It got me to thinking, and so I decided to shoot out an email to the good folks at M&M's :

I was recently on a military deployment where I became up-close and personal with the MRE (Meal Ready to Eat). Two of the MRE packs contained your two most awesome flavors of M&M candies; Peanut M&M's and Peanut Butter M&M's. They are in the Chicken Breast (Menu #5) and Chicken with Salsa (forgot Menu #). Now, it just so happens that these MRE packs are also moderately un-sucky, which, if you have to live on MRE’s, is a desirable factor. Needless to say, they are highly sought after and somewhat tough to get your hands on, unless you know how to handle a prison shiv.
When I was lucky enough to get these MRE’s, I would save the M&M’s until the afternoon and then savor them, slowly, much to the chagrin of my M&M-less co-workers.

During one of my ha ha you ain’t got none savoring sessions, I thought about which M&M flavor I liked most. It tore me up inside. Then, a fantastic thought occurred to me; why not combine these two awesome flavors into one; Peanut & Peanut Butter M&M’s! Let’s face facts here, they both are awesome, and when you are eating one, you are comparing its appeal to the other. It’s like M&M polygamy, which can only end up in jealousy, heartache, and ugly kids in Utah.

So, why don’t you guys combine these, and make something totally awesome?!?!
I’ve worked out a few names you could call them, but feel free to take your own, as I’m not too marketing savvy.

1. P&PBM&M’s (Acronym-friendly for our military folks and pretty damn catchy if you ask me)
2. Peanut Chaos
3. Nuts Galore
4. Ha Ha, You’ve got a Nut Allergy and Can’t Enjoy These (Negotiable)
5. Eat Your Heart Out, George Washington Carver
6. Tokyo Slim’s Nuts (you never know)
