New Hat, Not Old Hat

Well, after more than a year and half relationship with my travel partner and more than 7200 pictures together, he's finally getting a new hat. He's needed one for awhile, but his need for glasses was greater. Now, with the help of my tax refund, he'll finally have a little cover up top. This hat wasn't cheap, and I've been putting off this purchase for over a year. It should arrive in the mail next week. I'm excited for both of us.

Until it arrives, we're gonna hit the road this morning, traveling south to look for Cherry Blossoms in the Iwate Prefecture. It's the dark green section in the north. I'm located in the section above that, called Aomori Prefecture. We're like Iwate's Canada, without all the "eh?" talk.



Something new, as we've mainly only traveled North, North-West and North-East. Got some travel prep, so that's all for now.
