Quick Update

Sorry its been awhile, but life has gotten hectic lately. I got stuck on nights for an exercise, and right after that was over we went out of town for a reunion with the family from Tokyo. We all had an awesome time, I hope to get some pics up of our meals soon. I'm also cooking up another volume of the 32nd flavor, but there's work around the house to get done. I've got an awning that's framed up and ready for roof panels, and I signed up for Japanese 111 at the University of Maryland. Gotta work on my Japanese grammar; my vocabulary's decent, I just can't make sentences. I caveman talk like, but fire make good and wheel I have license. Oongawa, zug zug. Wall of ice get closer.

Matay, thanks for the comments on the garlic post. I remember coming to see you once when we were in Korea and you had Garlic seeping from every pore of your skin. Paint curled on the walls as you passed! I'm definitely gonna get that Gyro action going, thanks for the link!

I'm somewhat embarassed to say I just found out that the World Series is going on, but I have no idea who's playing in it. I'm happy to say I've remained current with the Lil' Kim nuke testing situation. I've also now seen all of Season 1 of Prison Break, thanks to Netflix; I wish we could watch Season 2 here. My first 8 years in Japan I didn't give a rip about TV, but man, that Prison Break has got me by the short and curlies. I love that saying.

Yeah Nox, AFN has it on Sundays here, but its best to watch it from beginning to end on dvd. I hear you can download the second season episodes after they air in the states. I might look into it.

I thought about buying season 1, but once I've seen it, the suspense is all gone and I think it would lose its appeal.

Hey OPR 12, Deadwood is next on our Netflix list. Right now we are starting the Lost series, as Mrs. Slim and I have only seen a couple episodes a piece.
