Aomori Sunset

Last Saturday, we took a practice drive to the driver's license center in Aomori in preparation for an early monday morning appointment. Once we made it there, the day was ours to explore Aomori. A later post will have the delicious food we ate in this coastal city.

We were at the Aspam building and Aomori Bay bridge for the sunset. It was more beautiful than I could capture with a camera. Here's the best I could do, click to enlarge:

The sky turns pinkish-gold, on its way to a purple-gold



The triangular Aspam building from under the bridge. They rotate the color of the lights throughout the night.

Here, the lights turn to a bluish purple.
