A Moron's Guide to "Art"
Ok, so I've never owned a piece of art. I probably wouldn't know "art" if it snuck up and bit me in the ass. However, I do know Art Van de Lay, from the TV show Seinfeld. I'm a huge fan of the show and I decided to capitalize on being in a country which has no regard for copyright laws. I ordered "The Kramer" poster from the internet and brought it to a painter, who made me this:

The Kramer
I'd say I'm several steps ahead of any Seinfeld fan with this "original" piece.

Here's a link to the poster for you to buy. The eyebrows are not quite right, and that makes or breaks the painting in my opinion, but this was done during the exercise and I couldn't guide the artist in what I wanted. I'd say the artist did a very good job, not having the show in syndication here in Korea and never having laid eyes on the man we know as "Kramer."
Hopefully I have my own desk area in Misawa, as I will most likely have to hang this at work, I don't think my wife would want this in our home.

The pic looks great....congrats on capitalizing on the country's fine art district. Ms. Lilly would not mind having that pic hanging on her office wall, what an inspiration from the KRAMER himself....
Kick ass. You are right about the eyebrows. A little off, but who cares. I have seen the painting in stores a number of times and laugh everytime I see it. I am going to put it in my "guy" room when I buy a home. I also saw a picture of George next to the Kramer painting in one store. It was the pic of him when Kramer was taking the pictures of him in his underwear for some girl. Gay but Classic

Yeah, Nox, That whole episode was hilarious. I bought "The timeless art of seduction" at the same time as "The Kramer." I kind of wish I hadn't now. I'm not sure I'm man enough to hang it on my wall.
Buy it here
Thanks Miss Lilly. "I am an art adorer" as George so eloquently puts it.
