Soccer Hooligans

World Cup 2006 starts tonight in Germany. I, for one, am looking forward to it. Japan's first game will be on the 12th against Australia. I urge all my friends in Europe to try to get to a World Cup game, if they can. I happened back through Tokyo when Japan hosted in the summer of '02, but it was about impossible to get tickets. Maybe there's an offer through the bases there. Check your community activities centers and outdoor rec's.

For those of us not in Europe, you can go here for coverage. And if you're still alive in 2050, you might want to check out RoboCup.

That's too bad, nox. At least you are in the same time zone which will make it easier to catch the games on TV.
Its interesting to see how amped people get for World Cup. There are huge parties in the streets here as well as in Japan where hundreds of people gather around a Jumbo Screen. I think it's better than the Olympics.
